Add a Dashboard Filter

Add filters to a dashboard to control which data appears across tiles.

Only Emburse Analytics Pro users with the Creator user type can add dashboard filters.

Before You Begin

To preserve the original dashboard, create a copy before making changes.

  1. Select the dashboard you want to update.

  2. Select Copy in the upper right corner.

  4. Select the destination folder, then select Copy Here.

  6. Open the copied dashboard from the selected folder.

Add a Filter to the Dashboard

Enter edit mode, then add and configure the filter.

  1. Select the More Actions button in the upper right corner, then select Edit Dashboard.

  3. Select Filters in the upper left corner, then select Add Filter.

  5. In the search box, enter the name of the field you want to filter by, then select it from the results.

  7. Select Add.

  8. Add button in the Add Filter dialog.

  9. Optional: Enter a default value for the filter.

  11. Select Save to apply the filter to the dashboard.

  12. Save button in dashboard edit mode.
