P-Card Fields Added to Employee and Expense Explores

New P-Card fields are now available in the Expense Professional and Spend Request Professional explores in Emburse Analytics. When you create or edit a report, you will find the fields in the Employee and P-Card folders, depending on the field.

The following fields are available:

  • P-Card Card Number Last Four: The last four digits of an employee P-Card. You can use this field to reconcile P-Card transactions in reporting, consistent with the standard Certify P-Card Reconciliation report.

  • Has P-Card: Indicates whether the employee has a P-Card, regardless of whether it is active or inactive.

  • Has Active P-Card: Indicates whether the employee has an active P-Card.

  • Had Active Card at Time of Expense (expense level): Indicates whether the employee had an active P-Card at the time the out-of-pocket expense took place.

  • P-Card Create Date (expense-line level): Retained on the expense record. This field populates only when an expense used a P-Card; no value will show if the expense was out of pocket.

You can use these fields to identify P-Card holders who submitted out-of-pocket expenses after card assignment and to distinguish employees with any P-Card from those with an active P-Card.
